As VP of Product and Operations you ll be at the forefront of the companys mission to enable the worlds most prominent merchants to scale their businesses seamlessly in South Africa and beyond. You ll shape product strategy drive operational excellence and lead complex crossborder payment solutions. Your focus will go beyond foundational growth: you will scale our operations improve merchant success and solidify the companys role as a key player in Africa s payment ecosystem. Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- A strategic product and operations leader with deep experience in fintech payments remittance or SaaS ideally in highgrowth or complex markets
- 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles with a proven track record of scaling products and operations in regulated environments
- Strong B2B and B2C product management background crossborder payments and merchant success optimisation
- Expertise in global payments ecosystems remittance networks digital currencies and alternative payment methods
- Skilled in navigating multijurisdictional compliance frameworks and managing regulatory relationships
- Experienced in datadriven decisionmaking using analytics to improve operations reduce costs and enhance merchant outcomes
- A natural leader who can build and scale highperforming teams while fostering a collaborative transparent and resultsdriven culture.
What it takes to succeed: Experience in B2B selling of a tech service or SaaS product into the large business market. A prospective solid network of potential clients as well as reselling partners Experience in rapidly structuring and scaling a sales organisation in multiple locations, scale-up/start-up experience, would be advantageous Demonstrated Sales management experience, including hiring, developing and driving accountability. Proven ability to manage sales teams from different cultures in diverse countries. Experience with fast-paced scale-up environments thrives on the challenge of getting things done quickly and delivering results.
