Our client is a leading technology company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Quality Engineering team ensuring alignment with the companys overall engineering objectives.
Lead the cultural transformation in testing practices to support the Companys Expert Engineering agenda utilizing the best testing tools and frameworks for a consistent and marketleading testing service to the Enterprise.
Define track and report quality metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering and testing teams.
Lead mentor and manage the Quality Engineering team fostering a highperformance culture and continuous learning environment.
Ensure adherence to best practices in software testing and quality engineering optimizing testing frameworks and methodologies.
Establish quality benchmarks for all disciplines within Quality Engineering ensuring consistent performance across teams.
Actively participate in the software development lifecycle including debugging complex production code reviewing developer code and contributing to software design when needed.
Manage escalations related to quality breaches ensuring that timelines and delivery standards are met.
Set clear objectives for the Quality Engineering team ensuring they have the necessary resources and strategies to achieve their goals.
Identify and address blockers that hinder the Quality Engineering teams productivity providing necessary support and solutions.
Facilitate training sessions knowledgesharing workshops and upskilling initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the Quality Engineering workforce.
Requirements
1215 years of experience in Quality Engineering with a proven track record of leading large teams in dynamic and fastpaced environments.
Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
Indepth understanding of enterprisegrade system quality engineering including both modern microservices and legacy system architectures.
Expertise in designing and developing automation frameworks and test suites from the ground up using technologies such as Selenium SeleniumGrid Rest Assured Appium Cucumber Page Object Models Page Factory RestAssured Spring Boot Mockito Junit TestNg ExtentReport TDD Kafka/MQ Wiremock PostGres etc.
Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
Proficiency in monitoring tools and strategies including but not limited to Splunk AppDynamics CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
Ability to drive portfoliolevel strategies to enhance software application quality.
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Solid understanding of software development system architecture and software design principles.
