We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is creative techsavvy and comfortable being in front of the camera as well as behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is an intelligent confident communicator a team player and a hard and smart worker who isn t afraid to go the extra mile. You will lead and execute marketing initiatives that build our brand engage our audience and support our mission of bridging businesses and exceptional talent. Location: Remote (Based Anywhere in South Africa)

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Campaign Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive content calendars for blogs social media email campaigns and more.
  • Create engaging written visual and video content for blogs podcasts and webinars to increase audience engagement and brand visibility.
  • Host and produce destinationone podcasts and video content showcasing thought leadership and industry insights.
  • Plan execute and analyze email marketing campaigns driving open rates clickthroughs and conversions.

Digital Marketing & SEO

  • Optimize website content for search engines to improve organic traffic and visibility.
  • Monitor and manage Google Analytics and other tools to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Manage Google business listings and ensure all company information is accurate and updated.
  • Focus on organic social media growth strategies to expand our reach and engagement. If paid campaigns are proposed they must include a clear strategy proposed budget and expected ROI.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and manage social media strategies to grow engagement and followers across platforms by at least 20 each month.
  • Schedule posts respond to comments and foster a community aligned with our brand values.

Website & Branding

  • Oversee website updates to ensure a seamless user experience collaborating with designers to improve UI/UX.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to reinforce brand identity and increase market presence.

Partnerships Events & Crowdfunding

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive collaborative opportunities.
  • Support the planning promotion and of virtual and inperson events such as webinars hiring fairs and industry panels.
  • Play a key role in crowdfunding initiatives including building out the campaign from endtoend developing strategies managing ongoing campaigns and ensuring their success.

Online Reputation Management (ORM)

  • Monitor and respond to reviews comments and feedback across platforms to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Implement ORM strategies to strengthen destinationone s reputation online.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually compelling presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Research and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance marketing efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure innovation in marketing practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing content creation social media management and website maintenance.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Confident cameraready and comfortable hosting podcasts or representing the company in video content.
  • Proficiency in WordPress Canva email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp Zoho) and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Experience with video editing and podcast production is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and online advertising (e.g. Google Ads LinkedIn campaigns).
  • A selfstarter mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Experience working in or with recruitment HR or similar industries.
  • Proven track record of growing social media platforms and running successful marketing campaigns.
  • A portfolio demonstrating creativity strategy and measurable success in marketing efforts.

Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to engage and secure new clients within municipalities, foundations, non-profits, and educational boards across Washington State. Network extensively within these sectors to identify potential clients and nurture long-term partnerships. Secure a minimum of 2 new clients per month, with the goal of increasing to 3 as the vertical grows. Work closely with our Managing Partner Business Growth and other service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and service delivery experience for new clients. Provide regular feedback to the management team on market trends, challenges, and opportunities within these public sectors. Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, specifically within or closely related to public sector environments such as municipalities, foundations, non-profits, and school boards. Strong existing network within these sectors in Washington State. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
