Job Description

We are Hiring! At Mar Recruitment a Recruitment Agency specialized in the maritime sector we are looking for a dynamic Tramp Vessel Commercial Manager to join a leading corporate group based in Grecia

As a Tramp Vessel Commercial Manager your mission is to identify and retain clients in the tramp vessel market while offering efficient logistical solutions all with the goal of optimizing business profitability.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attract potential clients in the tramp cargo market.
  • Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with shipowners operators and shippers.
  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms for services offered.
  • Ensure efficient and profitable vessel operations by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with operations finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at fairs events and trade missions to enhance sector presence.
  • Prepare reports on sales status forecasts and achievement of objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and manage incidents proactively.




Requirements


REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Higher education in International Trade Logistics Business Administration or related fields.
  • Additional training in shipping or maritime transport (preferred).
  • 35 years of experience in maritime service commercialization preferably in the tramp sector.
  • Knowledge of the shipping market shipowners brokers and shippers.
  • Flexibility and availability for frequent travel (mandatory).
  • Languages: Advanced English (mandatory). Additional languages (French Chinese Arabic) are a plus.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close commercial agreements.
  • Analytical mindset with strategic abilities to identify business opportunities.
  • Resultsoriented with excellent prospecting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
