Job Opening: Principal Scientist Discovery Sciences
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Principal Scientist Discovery Sciences at our Contract Research Organization in Hyderabad who has hands on experience in leading a team of Scientists designing synthetic routes by using the referencing tools monitoring laboratory activities structure activity relationship study of the analogue compounds and also has experience in
synthetic chemistry in providing services in the development of small molecule synthesis of NCE s.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a Team of 20 Chemists focusing on both FTE and FFS projects and is accountable
for the success of these projects.
Guide the team in designing synthesis schemes (mg to kg scale) and trouble
shooting
Design number of steps reactions quality quantity & timelines maintaining desired
manpower/FTE ratios and achieve maximum productivity with minimum resources.
Will be responsible for Quantity Timelines and Profitability of each project.
Hands on experience in preparation of Project Estimates for PO projects
Responsible for optimal utilization of resources in the specific project team and improve
productivity.
Resolve synthetic challenges within the TAT.
Manage Customer Relationship through weekly project updates and meetings.
Excellent knowledge in characterization of compounds by different analytical techniques.
Essential Requirements:
PhD/PostDoctoral with a specialization in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry with 10
years of relevant industry experience from a Drug Discovery Organisation (CRO)

- 10 years of relevant industry experience from a Drug Discovery Organization (CRO).
MBA, HR Minimum 18plus years of total experience, last 3years of experience in Contract Research organisation
Education
PhD/Post-Doctoral with a specialization in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry with 15-18 years of relevant industry experience from a Drug Discovery Organisation (CRO)
