About the company
GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace which manufactures engine components aircraft structures cabin windows wiring and much more for many of the worlds aircraft. The Aerospace division companies that work with aircraft engine parts together form Engines and at our facility in Trollhttan we develop and manufacture advanced components for aircraft and space rocket engines. We also work with engine maintenance.
The company has production facilities in Trollhttan Kongsberg (Norway) Mexico and the USA. We also have an engineering office in Bangalore India and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg.
Global Technology Center (GTC) is located in Trollhttan and for this role you will be based at Innovatum Science Center.
About the role
Are you passionate about MLOps and eager to drive innovation in AI and machine learning At GTC we are at the forefront of developing cuttingedge technologies and pioneering datadriven solutions for Additive Manufacturing. As an MLOps Engineer you will play a vital role in designing optimizing and deploying robust ML pipelines bringing AI models from research to production. Join our collaborative team and help solve complex challenges in aerospace and industrial AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and optimize ML pipelines for domainspecific applications ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Develop deploy and monitor realtime AI models for performance and data drift.
- Standardize feature engineering model training and experimentation processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to refine ML solutions and integrate feedback.
- Communicate insights and technical findings through clear documentation and presentations.
Your profile
To succeed in this role we believe you have:
- Working experience in ML/AI with expertise in deep learning and computer vision.
- Strong background in MLOps including model registries training logging and deployment.
- Handson experience with realtime ML models pipelines and production deployment.
- Proficiency in Python Node.js React and FastAPI for fullstack development.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes and cloudbased infrastructure.
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience in industrial AI factory AI or shop floor AI is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a plus.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
