Driver Trainer
Halls is a wellestablished and successful New Zealand business specialising in refrigerated transport and logistics. Our high profile business focusses on providing top customer service. As a Halls Driver Trainer you are an integral part of our Transport and Operations team providing professional and relevant adult training and assessment practices for our forklift and truck drivers.
In this role you will be a vital part of our processes to ensure we attract the right people and offer them a safe and positive environment to work in. You will be involved in the recruitment (driver assessments) induction and training & assessing of our forklift and truck drivers. Were looking for someone who is genuinely keen to join our business and help our people develop their skills and become better operators
Qualifications :
What you will bring:
- An I endorsement (I2 I4 I5
- A registered Workplace Trainer and Assessor with MITO and/or Competenz
- 10 years relevant industry experience
- Previous experience implementing and managing driver cadetships
- Ability to do driver licensing for classes 2 4 & 5
- A clean NZ Drivers Licence up to class 5
- Be able to pass a fit and proper person check as per NZTA requirements
- Unit standards& 7108 would be advantageous
- People skills! The ability to relate to people and motivate them to be their very best
