Job Description
Position: SAP Trainer
Duration: 3 month contract
Location: Chicago IL
Need to be based in Chicago or open to travelling weekly.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Trainer who is bilingual in Spanish and English to deliver end-user training at various warehouse and distribution center locations. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills hands-on SAP experience in warehouse/distribution environments and a passion for helping others learn new systems.
As a traveling SAP Trainer you will be responsible for delivering onsite training supporting go-lives and ensuring operational staff are comfortable and competent using SAP for daily warehouse functions (e.g. inventory receiving shipping picking packing etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person SAP training sessions for warehouse and distribution center staff in both English and Spanish
- Customize training delivery to match the local sites processes and users experience levels
- Develop update and translate training materials job aids and quick reference guides as needed
- Provide hands-on support during go-lives and system transitions
- Act as the first point of contact for SAP-related user questions and troubleshooting during initial rollout periods
- Collaborate with project managers site leaders and IT teams to ensure training aligns with deployment schedules and business needs
- Collect feedback and identify areas for training improvement or retraining
- Maintain detailed training records and reports
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- 3 years of SAP training or super user experience ideally in WM EWM MM or SD modules
- Strong understanding of warehouse/distribution operations and workflows
- Prior experience in conducting in-person hands-on training sessions
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80%) to various sites
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and audiences
- Experience creating or modifying training materials a plus
