Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customerfocused Front Desk Agent to join our team in Mexico City Mexico. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional experiences and ensuring smooth operations at our hotels front desk.

  • Greet and welcome guests providing a warm and professional first impression
  • Perform efficient checkin and checkout procedures including room assignments and key card issuance
  • Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Process payments accurately including cash credit cards and other forms of payment
  • Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue and enhance guest experiences
  • Maintain accurate guest records and reservations using the hotels property management system
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and issues are resolved
  • Provide information about hotel facilities local attractions and transportation options
  • Assist with concierge services such as making restaurant reservations or arranging transportation
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean organized and wellstocked with necessary supplies
  • Adhere to all hotel policies procedures and safety guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance job skills and knowledge

Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a Guest Services role preferably in a hotel setting
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in business management hospitality or related field; or equivalent of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with Opera property management system is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Detailoriented with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Basic math skills for handling financial transactions and reconciling accounts
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and local area attractions is beneficial
