Job Description
A wonderful Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Illinois is seeking a wellrounded Counselor/LCSW to join their team!
Pay: $29.00 $44.00/hour (contingent on experience)
Counselor/LCSW Opportunity:
- Fulltime Direct Hire position
- Schedule: Day 8a 5p
- Setting: Short Term Acute Care
- Department: Behavioral Health
Counselor/LCSW Responsibilities:
- Provide general counseling and specialty group sessions as assigned by the Director
- Demonstrates strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards following departmental policies and procedures while ensuring the privacy of all patient information
- Assesses patient needs and develops personalized treatment plans facilitating individual family couple and group therapy sessions to foster positive therapeutic outcomes
- Maintain collaborative relationships with community referral sources and colleagues to enhance patient care
Counselor/LCSW Qualifications:
- Required Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work
- LCSW or LCPC licensure
- Counselor/LCSW experience in Behavioral Health treatment setting preferred
- Open to New Grads
