Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preliminary recording and approval of incoming invoices
- Set up payments weekly
- Post receivables payables and bank transactions into the accounting system DATEV
- Support account reconciliation
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements at both individual and group levels
- Gain deep insights into the accounting of our corporate group expanding your knowledge
- Prepare monthend transactions for the Japanese subsidiary (no Japanese skills are needed)
Bring to the Team
- Hold a completed commercial apprenticeship or pursue a Bachelors or Masters degree in finance
- Bring practical experience in accounting and have worked with DATEV or comparable ERP system
- Demonstrate an independent diligent and efficient working style paired with strong teamwork skills
- Excellent in MS Excel
- Good German and English language skills both spoken and written
