Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and customeroriented Food Server to join our team in Opelousas United States. As a Food Server you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.
- Welcome and engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using computerized systems
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation standards
- Transport food and beverage orders safely using trays or carts
- Process guest payments and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timing
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns
- Maintain knowledge of menu items daily specials and allergen information
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications :
- Minimum 6 months of food and beverage service experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds
- Proficiency in using computerized pointofsale systems
- Strong English language communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Teamoriented mindset with strong collaborative skills
- Food handling certification or ability to obtain as required by local regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
