Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey in the heart of maritime innovation Norsepower a pioneer in sustainable shipping solutions is bringing sails back to shipping and saving the planet at the same time. We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team.

Norsepower Rotor Sail harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepowers project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. Each project is planned according to the clients needs and preferences.

As a Sales Manager you will be part of our 7person sales team and your main responsibility is to execute the sales strategy and achieve the sales targets. You will independently manage customer relationships and manage sales projects from technical feasibility studies to commercial negotiations always supported by and in collaboration with the team and the organization. You work in close collaboration with a variety of different customers so good communication and interaction skills and the ability to work with different nationalities and cultures are expected. A proactive mindset and the ability to see the business from the customers perspective are essential as Eye of the Customer is one of our core values.

Norsepowers HQ is located in Helsinki Finland but this position allows you to work from anywhere within the EU. If you live permanently outside Finland youremployment contract will be arranged through our trusted partner who handles international employment contracts and compliance with local laws.

Requirements

  • Strong experience and a successful track record in sales operations in the marine industryor other international industrial project environments
  • Relevant educational background (B.Sc/M.Sc) preferably ina technical field
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • A systematic way of working and excellent documentation skills including the use of modern CRM systems
  • Readiness to travel 6070 days/year)
  • Full working proficiency in English; other languages are considered benefits
