We are seeking a highly skilled Neurosurgery Specialist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing treating and performing surgical procedures for conditions affecting the brain spine and nervous system. This role requires expertise in both minimally invasive and complex neurosurgical procedures working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Surgical & Clinical Duties:
• Perform surgical interventions for conditions affecting the brain spine spinal cord and peripheral nerves.
• Conduct neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies tumor resections spinal decompressions and minimally invasive spine surgery.
• Diagnose and treat conditions such as brain tumors spinal cord injuries stroke aneurysms epilepsy and neurovascular disorders.
• Utilize advanced imaging and navigation technologies (MRI CT scans intraoperative neuromonitoring) to guide surgical interventions.
• Work closely with neurologists anesthesiologists and rehabilitation specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Patient Consultation & Management:
• Evaluate patients through comprehensive neurological examinations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating both surgical and nonsurgical approaches.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on neurosurgical procedures risks and expected outcomes.
Research & Professional Development:
• Stay updated on cuttingedge neurosurgical techniques and advancements in neurotechnology.
• Participate in clinical research trials and medical conferences to contribute to the field.
• Train and mentor residents and junior neurosurgeons fostering skill development within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Medical Degree (MD MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Neurosurgery.
• Valid medical license to practice in Specify Country/Region.
• Minimum 5 years of postfellowship experience in neurosurgery.
• Expertise in brain and spinal surgeries neurovascular procedures and minimally invasive techniques.
• Experience in roboticassisted neurosurgery is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
• Proficiency in complex neurosurgical procedures and emergency interventions.
• Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills under highpressure conditions.
• Excellent handeye coordination and precision in surgical techniques.
• Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous learning research and medical innovation.
