Connectivity Specialist (6Month Contract)
Location: Cheltenham UK (Hybrid working/Remote options considered) Benefits: 27 days holiday per annum plus Wellbeing day Private Medical Insurance Enhanced pension plan Life assurance Discount scheme.
Salary: Up to £46000 pro rata per annum
Role Overview
The Connectivity Specialist will support and maintain network infrastructure in partnership with our global vendor. They will ensure the continuous operation of the infrastructure providing handson support for daily businessasusual activities.

Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On…
- Managing local and wide area networks WiFi and internet services while adhering to best practices
- Handson work with Cisco switches and Meraki WiFi systems
- Management and support of sitespecific connectivity and infrastructure technology with a focus on delivery and daily operations
- End to end management of service tickets including updating prioritising and categorisation
- Acting as the technical lead for Infrastructure & Operations major incidents and completing RCAs
- Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly maintenance checks are completed
- Working within Infrastructure & Operations or a similar operational team
- Updating and maintaining policies standards and procedures
- Working with networks servers Active Directory troubleshooting and maintenance of an IT infrastructure
- Working knowledge of network protocols standards and security practices
- Working knowledge of SDWAN Cisco and Meraki products
- Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
- Be an excellent communicator and show strong problemsolving skills
- Possess relevant qualifications in IT CCNA CCNP ComTIA A
- Possess knowledge of Enterprise Endpoint security encryption hardening protection and patching
- Provide outofhours support and participate in 24x7 oncall rotas if required
