Job Description
Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a fulltime position based in New York City with a hybrid schedule requiring four days per week in the Manhattan office.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly revenue entries
- Help plan and manage the monthly and quarterly closing processes
- Help prepare trial balance and financial reports for monthend close updated supporting schedules and variance analysis
- Prepare intercompany related journal entries analyze and reconcile across all entities and maintain schedules of intercompany balances and transactions
- Help prepare schedules and analysis for annual financial and uniform guidance audits
- Other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or similar discipline
- 5 years of professional accounting experience
- 4 years of professional nonprofit accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience communicating and explaining complex financial information
- Experience manipulating organizing and presenting large amounts of data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Excel required
- Experience with nonprofit enterprise software such as SAGE Intacct Expensify Workday Financial Edge or similar required
Special Considerations:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $82568 $100000 annually.
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidates work experience education/training jobrelated skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
