Job Description
In an ambitious growth strategy we are now looking for a Planning Ordering & Distribution (POD) & Business Development Manager to join the Polestar Austrian team.
Let us describe the challenge we offer
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will cover sales forecasting order tracking delivery planning and registrations as well as the various internal fleets. You will focus the OTD (Order to Delivery)strategy to ensure that the cars of Polestar customers are deliveredin an efficient and premium manner. It will require someone who can manage multiple highlevel stakeholders both internal and external as POD is integral to the success of Polestar Austria. You need topossess a positive cando attitude excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple tasks and switch priority / focus when needed.
What youll do
The core responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all cars within Austrian market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way
- Monitor and report on theorder bank creating forecasting models and subsequent targets
- Review and manage third party logistics providers
- Place stock orders report on stock situation and manage order matching
- Departmental KPI/Scorecard reporting
- Ensure data within the factory order system (VISTA) is accurate and supports dashboard reports highlighting any discrepancies between systems to central teams
- Troubleshoot any problems within the OTD journey and escalating where necessary
- Investigate and follow up on process gaps and highlight opportunities for improvement
- Plan and oversee requirements for the registration of vehicles
- Support the Head of Operations & MD in developing the market/OTD strategy in Austria
- Be a supportive and strategic partner for the Head of Operations/MD within a successful retail partner launch in the Austrian market
- Manage & coach 2 team members who assist the order and handover processes.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you have/are:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in automotive is a plus
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Working experience with retail partners in automotive is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication in English and German
- Excellent knowledge of MS office programs.
