Chief Technology Officer CTO - Equity Stake

Tasks

As CTO you will be the technical visionary behind our platform shaping both our immediate product roadmap and our longterm tech strategy. Youll work closely with the founding team and hold a significant equity stake giving you direct influence on Locadas future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Strategy & Architecture

• Define and execute the overall tech stack ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
• Evaluate new technologies to keep us at the cutting edge.

1. Team Leadership & Growth

• Build mentor and lead an engineering team passionate about delivering highquality code and userfriendly products.
• Foster a collaborative culture encouraging innovation and continuous learning.

1. Product Development

• Work handinhand with product managers designers and stakeholders to deliver features that delight users.
• Balance speed and quality maintaining a high development velocity without compromising on technical excellence.

1. Security & Compliance

• Oversee data protection measures ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Implement best practices for data security and privacy crucial for user trust.

1. CrossFunctional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing Operations and other teams to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Provide regular technical insights to the founders and potential investors supporting strategic decisions.

Requirements

Extensive Technical Expertise: Proven track record in fullstack development or system architecture. Experience scaling platforms to thousands (or millions) of users is a plus.

Leadership Skills: Ability to build and motivate a highperforming tech team. Previous management or leadership experience is highly valued.

Startup Mindset: Comfortable working in a fastpaced rapidly changing environment. Youre handson proactive and embrace challenges headon.

Strategic Vision: Capable of balancing daytoday technical demands with the bigger picture of shaping the companys future.

Strong Communication: Able to explain complex tech topics to nontechnical stakeholders and align the team around a shared vision.
