Job Description
Urgent requirement of Senior IT Systems Engineer Contract Canberra
Requirements
Essential criteria
1. Experience using Sentinel or a similar SIEM solution is essential
2. Indepth familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual
3. Experience with security technologies such as endpoint protection firewalls and IDS/IPS
4. Extensive experience in Windows Linux networking and system administration
5. Experience with security services in the cloud (Azure or AWS)

Estimated start date: Tuesday 01 April 2025
Initial contract duration: Till 31 December 2025
Extension term details: up to an additional 24 months
Experience level: Senior EL1 equivalent
Location of work: ACT
Working arrangements: Onsite
Maximum hours: 40 hours per week
Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
1. Demonstrated experience using a Power BI Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise Power BI solutions, with strong expertise in data modelling, SQL, and Azure Databricks 2. Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data visualisation techniques 3. Experience working with Engineering, Storage and Analytics services in cloud infrastructure. 4. Experience working collaboratively in an agile development team
