The IT Specialist will provide service and assistance to the IT Department in meeting its goal:
- He/She will installs modifies and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems and provides technical advice and support to system users
- Identify and procure the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems
- Collect data by identifying sources of information; designing survey and collection methods
- Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors keyboards printers and disk drives on users premises
- Organize information by studying analyzing interpreting and classifying data
- Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems networking components and office applications
- Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements
- Resolve retrieval problems by altering design to meet requirements
- Prepare reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information
- Provide telephone inperson and online support to endusers
- Provide updates status and completion information to manager and/or users via voice mail email or inperson communication
- Answer users inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Make recommendations such as suggesting appropriate hardware software and systems
- Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
- Maintain historical records by documenting system changes and revisions
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in IT Computer Engineering or any related courses.
- At least 1 to 2 years work experience as in IT Help Desk/IT support or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of PCs and communications interfaces.
- Knowledge of advanced concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information system hardware and software.
- Good communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and problem solving skills.
- Full time position and can work in a shifting schedule.
