Job Description
An OFSTEDrated Good primary school in Harrow is seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a fulltime basis until July. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students learning in a nurturing and dynamic environment helping children to reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Providing general classroom support assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
- Working with students on 1:1 or small group interventions helping them with specific learning goals and overcoming any challenges they may face.
- Supporting children with a range of learning needs and ensuring they are included in all classroom activities.
- Helping to prepare teaching resources and materials as well as supporting classroom organisation and displays.
- Building positive relationships with students supporting their emotional and social development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Passionate about working with children and fostering their growth and development.
- Able to support students with varying levels of ability and provide tailored learning assistance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
- Patient adaptable and proactive with a desire to make a positive difference in students learning experiences.
