Job Description

Our Enterprise Technology & System Integration team brings together skills in intelligent automation data engineering software integration and cloud platforms to help our clients align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. We also draw on KPMGs extensive national and global resources adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.

We are seeking a Delivery Manager to provide leadership and direction in the planning and technical delivery of all projects to ensure the business unit meets its delivery targets costing scope and quality assured deliverable standards and at times will require a handson approach to assist delivery.

This will include technology enablement projects ranging from varying risk and complexity to ensure time cost quality client delivery. It will involve coordination of delivery activities spanning data integration infrastructure and applications.

Your Opportunity

As a member of our Enterprise division the Delivery Manager will play a crucial role by ensuring contracted services are being seamlessly delivered to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the planning and delivery of large complex projects including taking an active role leading process and procedure in the delivery of Projects. Manage tasks in accordance with cost budgets and Role Description
  • Work with relevant Project Managers of cost budgets for tasks assigned for client performance. Develop a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service delivery
  • Lead identification of potential operational and delivery risks and the development and implementation mitigation strategies to ensure service level are maintained and delivery execution is within time.
  • Contribute to the development of systems processes procedures and strategies to implement key client initiatives and communicate the outcomes to ensure the adoption of new systems policies processes and procedures across the Business unit.
  • Prepare briefings submissions presentations and develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives.
  • Provide routine and ad hoc reports on the operational performance of projects to highlight any trends forecasts or risks that require management intervention and/or strategic solutions for further action.

Your Experience and Skills

  • You should have a deep understanding of program and project delivery frameworks (such as ITIL) and best practices to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services. This includes delivery management problem management change management and service level management
  • You should be able to understand client requirements manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process
  • Proficient with requirement analysis resource planning project delivery management and effort estimation
  • Be adept at analysing complex situations identifying problems and proposing effective solutions
  • You should have the ability to think critically and make decisions quickly to address servicerelated challenges
  • Values problem solving and committed to reimagining whats possible for clients and key stakeholders
  • Have a mindset of continuous improvement. You should proactively identify areas for improvement implement process enhancements and drive efficiency in service delivery.
