Job Description
A dynamic and thriving twoform entry primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join their team in April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent fulltime role at a wellestablished school with a supportive environment and a strong commitment to both staff and student development.
The Role:
- Teaching a Year 2 class and delivering creative engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Supporting and guiding students through their learning journey ensuring progress and achievement for all.
- Taking responsibility for planning delivering and assessing lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborating with a team of talented teachers and support staff to deliver a rich and varied learning experience.
- Building positive relationships with students parents and staff contributing to the schools inclusive culture.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has proven experience in teaching KS1 with a strong understanding of Year 2 curriculum requirements.
- Demonstrates a commitment to highquality teaching and student progress.
- Possesses excellent classroom management skills and a creative handson approach to teaching.
- Is passionate about working in a collaborative team environment and contributing to a positive school community.
