Job Description
Our client based in Budapest has launched an S/4HANA program. To drive the project forward we are looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager.
Framework Conditions:
Start: immediately
Location: Budapest (hybrid)
Duration: 3 months (extension possible 2 years)
Workload: Fulltime
Language skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian
Contract type: Freelance
Additional Note: Kindly be informed that our customer is located in Hungary. Therefore only applications from candidates fluent in Hungarian and based in Hungary will be considered.
Tasks
- Resource planning and management
- Project leading planning monitoring and reporting
- Continuously informing the management board about the projects progress
- Supervising the vendors work tracking deliverables managing risks and escalating issues to the management board when necessary
- Coordinating the acceptance of the vendors deliverables
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the business and IT units including coordination with release management when local systems require releases (for scheduling and resource allocation)
- Providing professional support in tenders and vendor contract negotiations to protect the projects interests
- Collaborating with auditors during projectrelated audits
Requirements
- 10 years of experience as a project manager in SAP largescale international corporate environments
- Experience in the implementation of one or more SAP modules
- Knowledge of business process mapping within SAP systems
- Experience in complex multisystem IT architectures
- Experience in S/4 HANA projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall working methods
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian
