Job Description:
As a Lead Access Control Technician you will be responsible for leading installation teams ensuring highquality workmanship and providing technical expertise for access control security and surveillance system projects. This role requires strong problemsolving skills leadership abilities and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Lead and oversee the installation programming and maintenance of access control CCTV and security systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on access control hardware wiring and software.
- Coordinate with project managers contractors and clients to ensure successful project completion.
- Supervise and train junior technicians to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards local codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations service calls and maintenance activities.
- Provide onsite customer support and training on system operations.
- 3 years of experience in access control security systems or lowvoltage installation.
- Strong knowledge of access control systems such as Avigilon Verkada Lenel AMAG Genetec Honeywell or similar.
- Experience with cabling wiring and troubleshooting electronic security devices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints schematics and technical documentation.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Low Voltage or Security System certifications (such as NICET BICSI or manufacturerspecific certifications) are a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
