This role is part of Visas North America Controllership team responsible for the accounting and finance operations of North Americas corporate accounting activities. The team is integrated into the broader Global Controllership function within Global Finance. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals. This role will oversee the compensation and benefits litigation and equity accounting activities for North America and Global including monthend close and consolidation analytical review and research of technical and operational accounting issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP stock based compensation and equity accounting and SOX 404 compliance and will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
As the Senior Accounting Manager you will play a key leadership role in the Controllership organization focusing on closethebooks process improvement system optimization projects scaling accounting infrastructures standardizing processes globally and mentoring the accounting team. Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a weekTuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdayswith a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 7 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD).
CPA or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors degree in Accounting with a focus on Compensation Benefits and Equity Accounting.
Clear progressive professional accounting experience preferably in a publicly traded company and/or with a public accounting firm.
Strong accounting quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to accurately apply key US GAAP principles to different business situations.
Previous experience managing teams.
Outstanding oral communication analytical and written skills.
Ability to build teams foster strong crossfunctional relationships and work collaboratively.
Ability to manage through change and lead change when appropriate.
Attention to detail highly organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement.
Proficient with Oracle or similar enterprise accounting systems and skilled in utilizing Excel to efficiently analyze data.
Must be comfortable working in a fastpaced rapidly changing environment with the expectation of increasing responsibility and scope over time as proficiency in the position develops.
Familiarity with the importance of SarbanesOxley and internal control compliance.
Welcomes challenging/complex projects and demonstrates an ability to work smarter not harder by continuously improving the efficiency of processes.
Adapts quickly to changes in a dynamic organizational structure and business processes.
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 142200.00 to 206350.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
