Job Description
A wellestablished hardware and houseware supplies distribution company in Valenzuela is looking for a Supply & Demand Planner to manage and optimize inventory levels ensuring product availability while minimizing costs. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets to forecast demand and improve supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and forecast demand for the company’s products using historical sales inventory levels ordering lead times and consumer demand data.
- Work with large datasets and utilize Excel to manage interpret and present supply and demand trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales logistics) and external stakeholders (suppliers principals) to align inventory and procurement strategies.
- Produce detailed reports and recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics and recommend adjustments to meet business objectives.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in demand planning supply chain management or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with large datasets and demand forecasting models.
- Ability to work crossfunctionally with sales logistics and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in hardware houseware or retail distribution is a plus.
