Job Description
- Take ownership of monthend close for your business portfolio
- Work with Group Finance and your Finance Business Partners to build annual budgets refresh monthly forecasts and related reporting within our Workforce portfolio
- 2 x 6 month fixedterm positions based at Qantas Head Office in Mascot (potential opportunity to extend) 1 x Regionals Workforce & 1 x Airports

The Centre of Financial Excellence (COFE) is a service responsible for ensuring financial processes and reporting are standardised controlled and efficiently executed across the Group. On a daytoday basis our Financial Control Teams working in a centralised Finance function support the various Finance Business Partner Teams and the business to drive effective decisionmaking.
As the Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for monthend close assisting with forecasting and reporting analysis and advice on all financial aspects across the Workforce portfolio.
Youll have
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified)
- Experience in a financial accounting role with 5 years experience
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail working with large volumes of often complex data
- Motivated selfstarter with questioning mind/ analytical skills
- Able to provide valueadd analysis and advice
- Able to work under time pressure and reprioritise when required
- High level of accountability and resilience
