Food Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: April 2025
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food Teacher at an outstanding school in Birmingham starting in April 2025. This fulltime permanent position is ideal for a passionate Food teacher eager to inspire students in the field of Food Technology.
About the Role:
As a Food Teacher you will:
- Teach Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 with the potential to progress to KS5.
- Develop engaging lesson plans to teach food preparation cooking techniques and nutrition.
- Assess student work and provide feedback to ensure they develop a deep understanding of Food Technology.
- Support extracurricular activities such as cooking competitions or foodrelated projects.
- Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum alongside other Food Teachers.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Food Technology or related subject
- PGCE or QTS

Salary:
Salary will be paid according to the MPS/UPS scale.
