Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D Finance team in Colombo Sri Lanka. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cuttingedge financial software solutions that drive our companys success in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
- Design develop and implement highquality scalable software solutions for financial applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize existing software applications
- Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in software development and finance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge within the team
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in software development for Senior Software Engineer role
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or C
- Experience with financial software development or in the fintech industry
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum)
- Proficiency in version control systems preferably Git
- Strong knowledge of database systems and SQL
- Oracle PL/SQL knowledge will be a definite advantage
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with financial systems processes and regulatory requirements
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
