Tasks
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their own homes ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation while respecting their dignity and preferences.
- Monitor and report any changes in the clients health or behavior to healthcare professionals and family members as necessary.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and maintain accurate records of all carerelated activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and conversation to promote mental and emotional wellbeing fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar caregiving role preferably within personal care services.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English to effectively interact with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving such as lifting or transferring clients safely.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to provide emotional support.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as required by the clients needs.
