Job Title: QA Manager / Practice Head
Location: Chandigarh/Mohali
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled QA Manager who will also work as a Practice Head. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing of Web Applications and API Testing. They should possess expertise in tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright Postman Rest Assured JMeter among others. As a Practice Head the candidate will also be responsible for leading the QA team and implementing best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the QA team and manage all QA activities within the organization.
2. Develop and implement the best practices for manual and automation testing.
3. Test web applications and APIs to ensure the highest levels of product quality and reliability.
4. Use tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright Postman Rest Assured and JMeter for testing purposes.
5. Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
6. Identify record document and track bugs to resolution.
7. Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the QA function.
8. Work closely with other department heads to align QA strategy with business objectives.
9. Provide regular reports on QA activities and effectiveness.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 12 years of experience in a QA role with a focus on Manual and Automation Testing of Web Applications and API Testing.
2. Proficiency in tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright Postman Rest Assured JMeter among others.
3. Proven experience in leading a QA team and implementing best practices.
4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
5. Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
7. Experience in Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
8. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
