Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and versatile individual to join our team as a Project Manager & Network Technician. This dual role requires both strong project management skills and technical expertise in network systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where you can leverage both managerial and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities for Project Management
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans timelines and budgets and ensure timely delivery of projects within agreed parameters.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and effective resource allocation.
- Risk management: Identify assess and mitigate projectrelated risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Regularly communicate project status issues and successes to stakeholders and senior management.
Technical Responsibilities in Network Systems
- Install configure and maintain network hardware and software ensuring optimal network performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly minimising downtime and service disruptions.
- Conduct periodic network audits and implement necessary upgrades to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support ongoing improvement and optimisation of network systems.
- Document network configurations processes and protocols for future reference and compliance purposes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project management and network administration.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture including routers switches firewalls and VPNs.
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills capable of diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP) and networking (e.g. CCNA) are a plus.
