SEN Teaching Assistant Welcoming School Bexley
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Nature: FullTime Permanent

Salary: Dependent on experience
A welcoming school in Bexley is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Role Highlights:
- Fulltime permanent position at a welcoming school in Bexley
- Provide oneonone and small group support to students with a range of SEN
- Work closely with class teachers to implement individualized learning plans and support strategies
- Assist with personal care mobility and daily routines where necessary
- Encourage and motivate students to engage in learning and develop social skills
- Support students in both academic and emotional development fostering independence and confidence
- Build positive relationships with students parents and staff ensuring holistic support
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for working with children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience empathy and a commitment to supporting students individual needs
- Enhanced DBS check required
