SEMH Teaching Assistant Specialist School Sutton

Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant

An exceptional specialist school in Sutton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a parttime permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs providing them with the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive in their education.

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their emotions behavior and social interactions. You will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions and provide oneonone or small group support to ensure each students individual needs are met.

Role Highlights:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SEMH or SEN students is preferred

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS check required
