We are currently seeking a seasoned Full Life cycle IT Engineering Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team who can work from our San Jose CA office in a hybrid mode to support Full Time hiring needs for one of our Direct Clients.
The job is a longterm contract role and remuneration is as per Market Standard.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements for engineering positions.
- Source candidates through job boards professional networks referrals and engineeringfocused events.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates technical expertise and suitability.
- Coordinate and conduct technical interviews sometimes in collaboration with engineering teams to evaluate candidates technical abilities.
- Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified engineering candidates for both current and future hiring needs.
- Stay informed about trends in engineering talent acquisition including emerging technologies and skill sets.
- Build strong relationships with engineering candidates and hiring managers.
- Develop and manage job postings to attract qualified candidates across various platforms.
- Provide feedback and advice to hiring managers on candidates fit qualifications and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 57 years of experience in recruiting engineering talent across various specialties (Software Embedded Hardware AI/ML etc.).
- Strong understanding of technical skills engineering principles and job requirements for engineering roles.
- Experience with technical screening including conducting interviews and evaluating engineering assessments.
- Knowledge of programming languages engineering tools and design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Familiarity with job boards and social media platforms to source engineering talent.
- Strong negotiation skills for managing compensation and discussions with candidates.
