Job Description
- Leading coaching and mentoring a team of junior to midlevel buyers/category managers. Supporting their career growth and development and being responsible for the teams results. The commercial team has a great mix of people with all different backgrounds from the bigger retailers and Abrand suppliers.
- Growing your categories (all ambient and drink groups!) in sales and margin by deciding what assortment to sell against what selling prices with what discounts how to present it in app and how to activate both in and out of the app.
- Datadriven decisionmaking and staying up to date with the latest Ecommerce developments
- Independent deal negotiations with the biggest Abrand suppliers in the market and the development of a supplier network
- Close cooperation with the other departments like Retail media Marketing Supply chain and Hub operations to ensure growth
- Building the company further by identifying potential areas for optimization within category management. And also by working with internal stakeholders ranging from Product & Engineering to ERP to roll out new initiatives.
Qualifications :
- You have 6years of relevant work experience as a buyer category manager or key account manager within the food industry
- A bachelors degree in Business Management or a similar field
- Experience in coaching mentoring or guiding junior employees with examples of how you supported their growth
- Demonstrable experience in making pragmatic decisions to achieve business incomes
- Working proficiency (C1) in both English and German
