Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of the company ensuring accurate financial reporting effective budgeting and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial control with a proven track record in managing financial statements audits and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Oversee the budgeting process and work with department heads to ensure accurate financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial statements balance sheets profit and loss reports and cash flow statements.
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to ensure the company s financial health.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance against key business metrics and report to senior management.
- Prepare detailed financial analysis to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage tax compliance and ensure the timely filing of all necessary documents.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters or CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial control or accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
- Excellent analytical organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proven experience in managing audits financial forecasting and budgeting.
