Position Description
Contract Specialist During the contract acquisition phase: Facilitate and support the contract negotiations driving the contract drafting and keeping accurate records and managing the tradeoff list; Safeguard the application of existing terms in frame agreements to related deals; Ensure congruence between what is sold in the customer and in the subcontractor contracts; Drive the widest possible use of the NSN standard contract templates and guidelines; Facilitate contractual risk management and manage the contractual risk exposure; Create involvement and information exchange to allow suitable e2e contract alignment; Provide previous implementation experience to acquisition/procurement team; Ensure clear understanding of contract obligations/timelines/risk before signing; Support the development of a contracts database contract guidance and templates. During the contract execution phase: Create contract management action plan; Provide a contract summary to all involved; Adopt adequate tools and processes; Generate and update the contract GAP analysis by progress/performance tracking; Track the fulfilment of contractual obligations and the related consequences; Manage contractual claims and changes to and from the customer; Facilitate contractual risk management and regular risk review and change control boards; Handle major customer and supplier contract correspondence; Administer contractual document handling and storage; Drive customer contract development; Support in subcontractor claims and contractual dispute resolution.
Education Background
Degree in law (Bachelors/Masters) with experience in contract management/ review/ negotiation.
Fluent in English the second language desirable
