Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
Within Bosch Automotive Aftermarket you will develop (embedded) software for our vehicle diagnostics solutions for international car manufacturers and independent workshops. For that you will:
- Contribute with your solid experience in C with strong emphasis on OOP principles and network programming/protocols;
- Define product requirements analyze gaps in currently existing solutions and design and implement solutions to close those gaps;
- Integrate your work and test it both on module level and on system level. This is applicable either with simulations or on real vehicles in our own labs and at the customer;
- Join a globally distributed team and collaborate with your team mates in Germany Italy and the US to exchange knowhow and to jointly develop solutions for our customers.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education: Degree in Computer Science Electronics Engineering or similar;
Experience: Embedded software development (Linux based microprocessor systems) with focus on userland
software. Experienced in C network communication and linux;
KnowHow: Good development infrastructure and tool knowledge (ex: Jenkins). Knowledge of product deployment and build management;
Work style: Organized and analytical work style with a problemsolving mindset;
Personality: Proactive curiosity and interest in continuous development and learning ability to work in a team
environment;
Languages: Very good knowledge of English.
