Job Description

Job Summary

At Raffles & Fairmont Doha we take pride in offering exquisite dining experiences that reflect the sophistication and luxury of our brands. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations ensuring impeccable service and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. You will support the Restaurant Manager in leading the team enhancing guest satisfaction and driving business performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations ensuring a seamless and luxurious dining experience.
  • Oversee service flow ensuring efficiency consistency and adherence to brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality presentation and timely service.
  • Monitor restaurant reservations table assignments and special guest requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene regulations.

Guest Experience & Service Quality

  • Lead by example in delivering personalized anticipatory and engaging service.
  • Address guest inquiries feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure VIP guests special occasions and loyalty members receive exceptional attention.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Support in recruiting training and mentoring restaurant colleagues.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to maintain high morale and peak performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and support career development.
  • Assist in scheduling and staff allocation to ensure optimal coverage.

Sales & Financial Performance

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving revenue targets and cost control.
  • Promote upselling opportunities and implement strategies to enhance guest spending.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for efficient stock management.
  • Analyze operational reports and suggest improvements for profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a luxury dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations service standards and fine dining etiquette.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle highpressure situations with professionalism and poise.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
