Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security and structural integrity of the site boundary ensuring there are no protrusions or hazards.
  • Manage deliveries through the Heathrow Fulcrum system following instructions provided by the BUK supervisors.
  • Oversee site logistics including tracking materials across the site and coordinating the booking of deliveries at the CLC through the Fulcrum system.
  • Assist in coordinating site activities and operations.
  • Conduct regular checks on fire points ensuring they remain clear and correctly positioned according to the fire plan.
  • Perform site walkarounds to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor stores levels and report to site management when low.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and organization including but not limited to:
    • Ensuring site areas remain free from debris and materials are properly stored.
    • Leading and overseeing subcontractor operatives to maintain standards.
  • Verify the contents of the COSHH locker and ensure they match the COSHH register.
  • Restock essential safety stations including glasses cleaning stations ear protection stations eyewash stations and first aid kits (as required).
  • Post and remove signage as the project demands.
  • Set up and remove barriers as necessary ensuring safe zones are clearly marked.
  • Establish and enforce exclusion zones based on specific work scopes.
  • Support the commissioning team as needed.
  • Scan and upload documents to the project portal as required.
  • Perform other duties as directed by site management provided you are qualified and competent to do so.
  • As a BEUMER Group UK Ltd employee you are responsible for your own health and safety as well as that of others who may be affected by your actions at work. You are expected to cooperate with your employer and colleagues to promote a safe working environment.

Functional skills:

  • Proficient MS Office user / SharePoint.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to organise and lead daily/nightly activity briefings.
  • Assist with investigations and Reporting.

Qualifications :

  • SMSTS (Preferable)
  • SSSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • Airside Pass will be essential for this role which includes a DBS check and 5 year employment history. (To be completed on first week)
  • Similar role in airports/logistics
  • Construction Site H&S experience.
