Overall Purpose of Job
- Key Account management and business development to IOCs NOC EPCs and Marginal Field Operators in the Port Harcourt region.
- Work prospects through entire sales cycle including developing new leads educating prospects and retaining existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the company s products and services to effectively sell to clients. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Work with Product Specialists to identify application areas on client sites and make appropriate proposal on the benefits and usage of the products.
- Work with Product Specialists to identify and recommend as most appropriate technical assistance for key customers
- Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable highvalue customers.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations to clients.
- Understand full working of OEM Partners and any new technology.
- Gather intelligence for the preparation of reports tenders and presentations that will win the company contracts in ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Define strategy for relating with each customer group generate a Customer Intimacy Matrix and Org Structures on assigned accounts.
- Interface with Operators for updates on major project tenders received via Nipex for input into the tender log.
- Generate Request for Quotation (RFQ) Purchase Orders (PO) and Service work orders from assigned accounts.
- Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved.
- Collate and communicate weekly reports and business intelligence.
- Follow up with clients to ensure full payment for all supplies and services.
- Demonstrate consistent business development success and target driven achievements.
Requirements
- A good university degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience doing business development in upstream oil and gas
- Aggressive salesperson agile learner resourceful good planner SelfStarter goal and result oriented team player charismatic
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite good presentation skills conversational/interpersonal skills attention to detail and excellent relationship building skills
