Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the Corporate IT organization you will analyze business requirements and provide solution design for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMs) while implementing system solutions for various business initiatives
REPORTING LINE
- IT Delivery: Solution Lead LIMS
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for LIMS Labvantage functional solutions to meet the needs of the Business (Lab)
- Understand business workflows and requirements and relate to product capabilities and document/update solution design
- Realize test case definition & documentation and execute testing with result documentation
- Review validity and completeness with business and/or Rollout team prior to translation into functional software design documents & User Stories implementation
- Maintain a deep understanding of the LIMS Product capabilities and articulate proper use of the existing functionalities to the Users to encourage usage and minimize changes
- Influence what features of the product will be used added or deferred
- Maintain Global consistency across all Business Lines Regions and Labs
- Contribute to Roadmap Vision and Strategy
Qualifications :
PROFILE
- Graduate Level of studies and/or PostSecondary Education in Computer Science Biology/Chemistry Business Engineering or related subject
- Minimum 5 years of Functional Solution Analysis experience within the context of aplication development & implementation projects
- Experience with lab processes
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Good communication negotiation and interpersonal skills to explain and convince in a crossfunctional team set up
- Dynamic proactive and excellent team player
- Analytical thinking: a structured and logical approach and problemsolving skils
- Autonomous result oriented and selfmotivated
- International exposure and flexibility to travel occasionally
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of LIMS solutions (Labvantage G6 Starlims or other) and/or lab business process experience of comparable industry (like pharma)
Additional Optional Skills:
- Knowledge of Software application & Project Methodology (ScrumAgilePMPPrince)
- Additional language skills are from advantage
