The Accounting Manager ensures efficient and accurate management of daily accounting operations internal controls and financial reporting processes. The role supports the preparation of business activity reports financial forecasts annual budgets and ensures compliance with tax requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily accounting operations including billing collections payroll and disbursements.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls for accounting transactions and budget preparations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements (Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement).
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and review reports for accuracy.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior accountants reviewing schedules and reports.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of monthly and quarterly BIR/tax compliance reports.
- Budget and Forecasting: Assist in preparing financial forecasts annual budgets and business activity reports for management use.
- Sales Performance Reporting: Prepare and present monthly sales performance reports for coordination meetings.
