Job Description

The Opportunity

Sportradar (NASDAQ:SRAD) is a fastgrowing sports technology company in a critical phase of its development. The Corporate Development Analyst will play a vital role in the next chapter of growth for the company supporting with analysing evaluating and executing inorganic growth initiatives across all areas of the business while working with the Director Corporate Development and SVP Corporate Development.

 

Tasks/ Responsibilities

Execute M&A projects along full spectrum of the deal lifecycle:

  • Coordinate internal operational and external advisor teams through
    • PreDD assessment LoI structuring and negotiation
    • DD transaction structuring and documentation
    • Investment committee / Board approval processes
    • First phase postacquisition work
  • Provide guidance and ensure clarity around priorities and goals of M&A projects to different functional areas and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively across functions with peers in operational teams to successfully execute M&A projects
  • Compile relevant reporting to senior management and board committees
     

Support in the implementation of a groupwide M&A framework incl. (i) M&A idea generation and cultivation and (ii) M&A execution

(i) M&A idea generation and cultivation

  • Implement and refine groupwide idea generation and cultivation routine incl. standards for the inclusion of new opportunities into a pipeline; update prioritize and progress opportunities as well; assist teams in structured market analyses and screening exercises
  • Refine and generate relevant M&A dashboards to be used for status and progress reporting visvis different stakeholder groups
  • Train relevant SR senior team members to input and nurture the M&A pipeline

 

 

(ii) M&A execution

  • Support in refining a comprehensive framework for M&A execution incl. e.g. guidelines for the execution of small vs. large acquisitions
  • Support in defining standards for each of the relevant business functions within the SR Group incl. technology & engineering product sales HR finance legal tax incl. essential DD IRL checklists DD report templates as well as progress & value creation tracking
  • Use bestinclass M&A process templates incl. NDAs LoIs TermSheets SPAs investment case summaries

 

General Corporate Development support:

  • Act as additional contact for M&A execution topics within the SR Group
  • Lead and coordinate crossfunctional project teams including external advisors
  • Prepare documentation that serve as basis for top management decisions

 

 

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience working in an M&A position within a fastpaced highly competitive and dynamic industry preferably working as an M&A analyst

Proven track record of building relationships delivering large complex engagement and of successfully managing and guiding multiple crossfunctional teams business executives and stakeholders

Excellent factgathering and analytical skills structured working method and safe handling of research analyses and model tasks in transactional situations

Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) experienced on board and senior executive level

Initiative and drive critical thinking skills

Flexibility to travel at least 50% of time as required

Bachelor or masters degree in Business Accounting Finance Economics or any other related field
