The General Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:
operational leadership and management of the office in Almaty including coordination of all processes related to student recruitment admission events and applicant support;
plans implements and coordinates the implementation of recruitment activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as in foreign countries in order to attract applicants/candidates as well as Feebased applicants to Foundation Undergraduate Zero Year of Masters Programs Masters and PhD programs of the University (hereinafter academic programs of the University);
as assigned by the University Management organizes work sets goals and tasks for employees of structural units based in the Almaty office in coordination with the Heads of those units and oversees the quality and timeliness of task execution;
develops recommendations to increase the number of feepaying applicants and promote the Universitys academic programs in domestic and international markets;
collaborates with structural divisions and Schools of the University central and local executive bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan foreign partners educational organizations specialized organizations and other bodies for the implementation of recruitment activities;
coordinates interactions with external agents providing services to attract applicants from the Republic of Kazakhstan and/or international applicants for enrollment on a feepaying basis;
organizes the participation of the Division in Kazakhstani international educational exhibitions and promotes the University and its academic programs to potential applicants/candidates and other interested parties;
participates in the development of recruitment plans and activities of the University Schools and monitors their implementation to ensure the achievement of the Universitys strategic goals as needed;
participates in the development of plans for reviewing partial grants for local and international applicants;
prepares regular reports on the results of recruitment activities analyzes data and suggests new approaches to improve the efficiency of the Divisions operations;
submits proposals for updating relevant sections of the Universitys official website related to recruitment events and activities;
develops proposals to the Head of the Division to improve the efficiency of applicant recruitment processes and optimize the Universitys overall business processes.
