He/she has to be a professional in C programming know the properties of the high quality software and be familiar with embedded systems. He/she need to be able to get understanding of the software and its reusability by just reading the code and be able to focus on a systematic refactoring work of a complex system one step at a time. He/she need to have experience on the refactoring work and related techniques.
He/she need to be able to create prioritize and communicate individual refactoring tasks (work packages) hand them over to the development team and verify the resulting work by reviewing the code. He/she need to be able to collaborate and mentor in order to enhance the development teams knowledge on the maintainability and portability even the persons in the team are not sharing the same level of skills.
He/she needs to be also familiar with the tools used in the ELELL project (version control test automation ...) and know something about the test automation at least what it means for the software to be testable and what is the value of test automation in the detection of regression.
Most of all he or she needs to understand both the shortterm and longterm business cases behind the embedded software platform and related refactoring work. He or she need to be able to focus and prioritize his/her own work and work of others based on the business case.
Your key responsibilities
Be part of defining the overall software architecture for the machinerys control system considering modularity scalability and maintainability.
Experience on the refactoring work and related techniques
Hands on practice in Coding and documenting.
Review the code.
Optimize the code.
Implement Internal quality check peer to peer reviews.
Demonstrate the results of the sprint to the SW product owner at the end of every sprint.

Qualifications :
Educational background:
Masters or Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics / Computer Science or relevant.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience as a Sr. SW developer
