Job Description
We are looking for an Information Security Officer at one of our growing clients in Utrecht in the sustainable energy sector.
The role
In this position you will take the lead in defining implementing and continually improving the Information Security Management System. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our information assets and ensuring that we remain compliant with industry standards laws and regulations. The Security Officer serves as the goto information security expert both internally and externally collaborating across departments to integrate robust security measures throughout our operations.
Responsibilities
- Defining and evaluating information security risks;
- You will develop and maintain information security documentation including policies procedures and standards;
- Establishing and monitoring information security controls defining testing procedures and key metrics;
- You will execute and support information security audits and assessments;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security measures are embedded within all business processes;
- Developing and leading the information security awareness and training programmes;
- Staying uptodate with the latest security trends threats and technological advancements.
Who are you
- Bachelors degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field;
- CISM/CISA or similar certifications are an advantage;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Expertise with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards;
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. GDPR NIS(2) AI Act);
- Strong foundation in information security principles practices and technologies.
