Job Description
Senior Test Analyst Sydney
Key Responsibilities:
- Document functional test scripts and test scenarios based on defined requirements and/or acceptance criteria. (Mandatory)
- Chair and perform test coverage and/or review sessions with Product Owners or Business Analysts to ensure comprehensive coverage of business requirements. (Mandatory)
- Execute and maintain functional test scripts within sprints or as requested according to project needs ensuring alignment with testing goals and timelines. (Mandatory)
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to identify regression tests for the engagements and ensure critical functionality is tested. (Mandatory)
- Create and manage defects throughout their lifecycle and generate daily test status reports or as requested depending on the needs of the project. (Mandatory)
- Apply knowledge of industry standards such as AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 and hold relevant certifications like ISTQB. (Mandatory)
- Work with automation test teams to support the automation of test suites and ensure coverage consistency. (Mandatory)
- Perform crossbrowser testing and mobile testing using cloud platforms such as BrowserStack and SauceLabs. (Highly Desirable)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in manual testing including the ability to develop test scripts and scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong capability to lead test coverage reviews and discussions with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
- Experience executing and maintaining functional test scripts within Agile sprints.
- Strong collaboration skills with Business Analysts to identify appropriate regression tests for various projects.
- Expertise in defect management from creation to resolution and producing daily test status reports.
- Indepth knowledge of AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 series and ISTQB certification.
- Experience working with automation teams during the automation of the test suite to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Crossbrowser testing and mobile testing experience using cloud platforms like BrowserStack and SauceLabs. (Highly Desirable)
- ISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Level (preferably in Manual Testing). (Mandatory)
- AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 Series certification (or equivalent). (Mandatory)
- Other relevant certifications like Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist (preferred).
